Our vision is that all youths will have the opportunity to influence their future, which happens through education. The right to education is an essential human right. The dream of a high school diploma
In order to give the most exposed youths an educational opportunity, we run the high school Kenswed Academy in Ngong, outside Nairobi, Kenya. Give a Christmas gift that contributes to a high school education:
- 8 400 SEK – one year’s education for a student
- 42 000 SEK – one year’s education for 5 students
- 126 000 SEK – one year’s education for 15 students
The dream of a university degree
Zelmerlöw & Björkman Foundation finances scholarships for the students with the best grades in order to give the youths the best prerequisites to support themselves and their families. Give a Christmas gift that contributes to the scholarships:
- 14 000 SEK – a scholarship for a year for one student
- 42 000 SEK– a scholarship for a year for 3 students
- 70 000 SEK – a scholarship for a year for 5 students
The dream of a safe home
Young girls have the possibility to live at our boarding school that is located just next to the school in order for the female students at Kenswed Academy to feel safe around the clock. At the boarding school, the students are served food three times a day. Give a Christmas gift that contributes to security:
- 12 000 SEK – one year’s education and accommodation at the boarding school for a girl.
- 48 000 SEK – one year’s education and accommodation at the boarding school for 4 girls
- 120 000 SEK – one year’s education and accommodation at the boarding school for 10 girls
